Title: LITTLE MAN TATE 'House Party at Boothy's
After hearing about our work with Sandi Thom, V2 approached us about live streaming a gig from the sitting room of a house in Sheffield. Little Man Tate, an up-and-coming rock band, had just launched their single 'House Party at Boothy's', and wanted to celebrate by staging a gig from their mate Boothy's house.
The party was to be streamed live for the fans that couldn't make it to the party. So Creative Tank we’re brought in for the job……
Solution:
Creative Tank set up a mini DV camera in Boothy’s living room, and streamed the gig live via a standard Broadband internet connection. The footage was encoded onto a computer and then streamed live onto a temporary site so that fans who couldn’t make it to the gig, could watch it online.

At the same time as streaming the live feed, we recorded a higher quality version that was then shown on the temporary site for a week after the gig. This meant that those who were at or saw the live stream could re-live the party, over and over again. The video and audio stream worked perfectly and everyone at the party and online had a great night!
Creative Tank would like to point out that we DO NOT condone crowd surfing or stage diving in a living room… but had a pretty cool time filming it!
